Marketing Director

Caprock is a modern family office that serves as the CIO and CFO for ultra-high net worth families.  We advise on more than $7.5 Billion of assets, with a particular focus on private investments. How you will spend your time: 

Caprock is seeking an experienced, dynamic Marketing Director to raise the firm’s profile and begin building a high-performing marketing function.  This is a hands-on role with responsibility for marketing strategy and execution to support new client acquisition. To start, they will manage a team of 1 person and agency partners including digital and content. This role is ideally based in Boise but can be near any of Caprock’s existing offices, and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.


  • Develop strategy to raise Caprock’s awareness and consideration, ultimately resulting in new client acquisition;
  • Collaborate closely with Caprock leadership, Client Advisors, and other members of the team to develop messaging framework, site messaging, and sales and marketing materials;
  • Manage Caprock website, digital and SEO agencies to drive qualified leads to Advisors;
  • Lead and develop a high performing marketing team;
  • Work methodically to continually drive performance improvement;
  • Lead content strategy and execution;
  • Devise and implement a prospect nurturing program (including strategies around content, digital marketing, and event planning) to drive inbound client prospects in the UHNW market segment;
  • Create systematic approach to planning and executing events, gear, and other brand investments;
  • Evangelize the role of marketing, and nurture a small, agile team;
  • Manage the marketing spend to achieve budgeted targets;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Experience & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably with digital experience. Financial services experience a plus but not required;
  • Proven experience growing businesses in collaboration with a salesforce or advisors;
  • Experience establishing marketing budgets and a proven track record of hitting monthly goals for spend, revenue, and key performance metrics;
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, an affinity for numbers;
  • Compelling communication skills;
  • Exceptional customer insights and proven success utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action;
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, multi-task, and participate in team-based planning processes.
