Lauren Fereday

Marketing Coordinator

Among my little-known talents are… Skiing, painting, yoga, and placing first in Mario Kart… every time.

Favorite quote:  When we get too caught up in the busyness of the world, we lose connection with one another – and ourselves.  – Jack Kornfield

I want to be remembered for… Making everyone feel like they are valued and being a friend that people can trust to confide in.

Some of my best skills I bring to my job… The ability to connect with clients to better understand their specific needs. I am known for good conversation and adaptability that provides clients with an experience that shows my dedication to truly understanding and maintaining their best interests.

When I am not at work, you might find me… Spending time outside enjoying good company or biking on the Boise Greenbelt. You might also find me exploring new restaurants in search of the world’s best calamari.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live and why? I would live in Italy because of the art and culture that inundates you through every experience. There is no lack of creativity and free time to live a subtle, yet extravagant lifestyle of reading in the park with a great cheese board, seeing the ornate architecture, and feeling the history on every corner.

Background:

Prior to joining Caprock, Lauren studied at the University of Idaho and received her B.S. in Public Relations and International Studies. Throughout her time at the University of Idaho, Lauren held a position as team associate and lead for Vandal Solutions, a not-for-profit student-run business club on campus. She also studied abroad in Florence, Italy where she was immersed in the culture and had the opportunity to speak in an international economic conference on gentrification in China over the past 70 years. She then retuned to the University of Idaho and spent her senior year working for Vandal Entertainment as the Marketing and Special Events Coordinator, where she worked on providing positive experiences for students on campus. Lauren now enjoys spending her time after work biking, practicing yoga, or spending time with loved ones in her time after work.
