What is on your bucket list? Aside from traveling the world and trying various foods from different cultures, a top bucket list item is to attend all the major sporting events championship games. (World Series, Stanley Cup, Superbowl, World Cup, NBA Championship, Kentucky Derby, NCAA Final Four, and Winter/Summer Olympics)
What is a saying that you live by? “Winners make adjustments, losers make excuses” This was a phrase my dad told me when I was younger, and I applied it to just about every aspect of my life. It’s simple, instead of making excuses for yourself, make an adjustment and move forward.
I want to be remembered for? I want to be remembered for having a smile on my face and being a positive influence. I am a true optimist at heart and always look at situations with a glass half full. It’s always a successful day when I get to have a positive impact on those around me or help cheer someone up going through a difficult time.
What is one of my favorite places to visit? Southern California, specifically Newport Beach. Growing up my family was fortunate enough to have grandparents to visit in Newport. Some of the best memories growing up was spending countless hours in the ocean with my brothers and then getting a chocolate banana on the balboa peninsula.
What is your favorite quote? “How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You must have a dream, a goal. And you have to be willing to work for it.” – Jim Valvano
