The Client Advisor will lead and develop relationships with our UHNW clients to provide world-class service. As the Client Advisor, you will be the point of contact for the client’s investments and other financial endeavors, as well as helping to integrate impact investments within their portfolio. The successful person in this role will have a passion for and experience in impact investing in order to network and build new relationships for Caprock. The Client Advisor will work closely with our Client Experience and Client Associate teams to address the needs of the clients.

Client Prospecting
- Leverage deep knowledge and passion for impact investing to align investment strategies with the client’s mission and/or values, ensuring optimal outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Active participant in the impact investing ecosystem.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels including networking events, centers of influence, and referrals from investment managers.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of clients’ financial goals and investment preferences to tailor personalized investment solutions and effectively communicate value proposition.
- Prepare meeting materials and provide in-depth analysis for clients’ prospecting meetings.
Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their point of contact for financial investing and planning.
- Act as the primary Advisor for Impact clients, guiding strategic vision and implementing tailored impact initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of regular client communications regarding portfolio performance and activity.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review financial goals and provide personalized guidance to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Assist in evaluating client-sourced investment opportunities.
Portfolio Management
- Develop and maintain client balance sheets and lifetime discounted cash flow models.
- Prepare and present financial plans and recommendations for new and existing clients.
- Integrate impact investments within a client’s portfolio.
- Create modeling of asset allocations and portfolio statistics.
- Monitor and evaluate client portfolios on an ongoing basis implementing appropriate strategies to ensure alignment with client’s changing needs.
- Assist in the development of investment recommendations and portfolio reallocations.
- Work with internal teams to achieve smooth execution of portfolio management and execute investment administration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance-related major preferred.
- Experience providing strategic advice and guidance to Impact clients.
- CFA, CFP, Series 65, or other industry designation required.
- Proven track record in relationship management.
- Experience working in a multi-family office preferred.
- Confidentiality, discretion, and good professional judgment are required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Schwab, Fidelity, and state-of-the-art reporting and scenario modeling tools a plus.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
