About

Finance always piqued my interest growing up. One of my college teammates had a relative who worked in financial services. Following an internship at his company, it solidified my pursuit of a career in finance – the rest is history.

The decision to join Caprock as a fresh college graduate was easy. It was a tremendously exciting opportunity to join a startup company with ambitious and talented people at the helm. As a young kid, my attitude was, “Let’s see what happens next!” Starting my career in a small, growing company allowed me the opportunity to try different roles and learn multiple aspects of our company, deepening my knowledge of the industry.

Working closely with families that have significant wealth has broadened my knowledge and skillset to address the nuanced nature of my role. Although some similarities exist from family to family, a big-picture approach is required to connect different ideas that come with each family’s unique values and goals. Problem-solving, adaptability, and creativity are critical skills in my role that allow me to best serve my clients.

Over time, the most rewarding experiences have been the relationships I’ve been fortunate enough to build, both with clients as well as colleagues. The relational aspect of my journey with Caprock has always kept the experience fresh, versatile, and exciting. Having the opportunity to connect with different families and learn more about them is the most gratifying part of my job.
