Prior to advising families, I worked with a trading team executing on behalf of large pensions and institutions. It was very impersonal and solely transactional. I wanted to be in a position that allowed me to connect with people and have a positive impact on their lives. Wealth management has been the perfect fit for me as it has allowed me to candidly connect with the families that I serve.
Not only am I a financial guide to my clients, but I am also able to help them navigate some of the non-investment aspects of their lives. Providing education and preparing the rising generation for the responsibility of the family’s wealth is deeply rewarding. I truly enjoy working through the planning process and helping families answer the age-old question, “Do I have enough to do the things I want and need to do?”
I was drawn to Caprock because of the unique combination of investment expertise and experience across all asset classes as well as the close attention to the other important issues that surround successful families. Being able to work on a close-knit team allows me to have an uncompromising focus on my clients.
One experience that has really stuck with me was being able to join my client during an IPO for the company she was instrumental in growing early on. Monumental decisions were being made and I was able to assist and guide her through that amazing experience. Being a part of life-changing moments like this is the most gratifying part of my job.
