BOISE, Idaho, June 13, 2025 — Caprock, a leading multi-family office Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) serving ultra-high-net-worth clients, announced Alexander “Sandy” Nixon has joined the firm as a Client Advisor. Nixon, who splits his time between Idaho and Kentucky, brings both single-family office and executive leadership experience to Caprock’s bespoke wealth management services.
“Sandy’s unique experience gives him a deep understanding of the complex aspects of serving affluent families, entrepreneurs and business leaders,” said Bill Gilbert, Co-CEO of Caprock. “Sandy also embraces Caprock’s commitment to putting our clients first, above all else.”
Gregory Brown, Caprock’s Co-CEO, added, “Caprock takes an intentional approach in adding to its team, and Sandy’s ability to connect strategic planning with personal aspirations makes him a valuable addition to our team. We look forward to working with him as we continue to grow and deepen the value we deliver to the families we serve.”
For the last two years, Nixon has been working with a private family in a fully operational capacity, including oversight of investments and real estate, as well as the next iteration for the transfer of wealth through estate and trust planning. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for The Rawlings Group, a healthcare claims recovery firm. Before that, he held several executive leadership positions for multi-national food and beverage manufacturers and developers, including Eclipse Foods, FB3 Development, Havana Beverages and D.D. Williamson.
Nixon added, “I was drawn to the wealth management industry after working with business owners to develop a generational wealth transfer plan to meet their familial goals. As I considered my options, I wanted to find a firm with a track record of guiding complex decision-making and exceptional care for their clients, and the Caprock team personifies these values.”
