The Director of Impact Engagement will help lead the firm’s impact assets growth strategy across client engagement, marketing and advisor training. This role is responsible for attracting significant impact assets to the firm and enhancing the firm’s offerings to impact clients. The Director of Impact Engagement will also be responsible for augmenting the firm’s visibility as a leader in the space of impact and values-aligned investing, while driving thought leadership and innovation, and ensuring alignment with latest sectoral developments and emerging regulatory frameworks.

Strategic Leadership
- Develop, enhance, and help lead the firm’s client-facing impact strategy, aligning it with investment philosophy, client expectations, and fiduciary standards.
Sales and Growth
- Lead impact and values-aligned asset business development, sales strategy, and training for the firm.
- Lead institutional RFP responses and train teams firm-wide to win new impact mandates.
- Collaborate with marketing to augment leadership in impact investing, including public relations and recognitions through national or international awards.
- Pursue business development opportunities to be managed by advisor teams.
Investment Integration
- Help source unique and new impact investing opportunities through network and partnerships.
- Communicate impact client pipeline and impact themes to the investment team.
Client Advisory & Education
- Lead or engage with clients and prospects to articulate the firm’s impact strategy and approach to values-aligned investing.
- Support advisors and relationship managers in incorporating impact goals into asset allocation and financial planning discussions.
- Grow the number of impact-oriented Caprock advisors.
Measurement & Reporting
- Leverage impact reporting relationship with Bluemark.
- Lead B-Corp and other certifications.
External Engagement & Partnerships
- Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and advocacy initiatives related to impact investing.
- Build and maintain partnerships in the impact investing ecosystem.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 7-10 years of experience in impact investing and working with impact-oriented clients/families.
- Experience with impact investments across multiple asset classes.
- Experienced public speaker and presenter.
