Background:
Prior to founding Caprock, Bill led The Owyhee Group, a boutique advisory team within Smith Barney. Bill serves on the Board of Directors for the St. Luke’s Health System. He was appointed to the Idaho State Board of Education in 2021. Bill is also on the Board of Directors of Idaho Business for Education. The Governor of Idaho, Brad Little, asked Bill to serve as the Co-Chairman of the Governor’s 2019 “Our Kids, Idaho’s Future” K-12 Education Task Force. Bill has also served as a director of multiple private companies such as VisitPay and Pets Best Insurance Services, LLC. He is a former Chairman of the Board and Emeritus Director of the University of Idaho Foundation and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Idaho, with a B.S. in Finance.
